As the commander of the 555th Engineer Brigade (Triple Nickel), I write to express my appreciation and delight with the St. Barbara medals that you designed and produced for our unit. The medals are first-rate and we are proud to show them off.
Your medals were instant hit with the Soldiers and Family Members, especially valued due to our recent deployment to Iraq. The medals are not only attractive but provide a measure of spiritual solace to our team. The chaplain informs me that many of our troops have the medals on their dog tags, in their wallets or in their combat vehicles to invoke heavenly protection. Family Members back home wear or display them and are reminded to pray for the safekeeping of their loved ones far from home.
We wanted you to know that your medals literally touched us and are making a difference. Thank you for your professional work and helping to make a difference in a place where little comfort go long way.
